Duties Description Under the general direction of the Director of Business Analytics, the Data Analyst 2 will perform tasks related to data analysis, data interpretation, and data management in support of agency operations.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop and produce business intelligence solutions to support analysis of agency operations.
Support the creation of agency-wide best practices and standards for data analysis and data management.
Research new solutions and best practices to make recommendations to develop or improve processes, operations, and policies related to data analysis and business intelligence.
Support the development of an agency-wide data and analytics strategy.
Analyze, clean, and interpret data for inclusion into written reports, measuring data findings against the criteria, critical benchmarks, and objectives identified and defined by Executive Leadership.
Evaluate data sources to determine any limitations in terms of reliability or usability.
Work with various stakeholders to develop and build models in support of analytic use cases; identify trends and patterns in data sources.
Work collaboratively with the technical dashboard development team to update/create dashboards to monitor agency performance and explore operational trends.
Perform the tasks of major assignments related to the analysis and interpretation of data used in the development of recommendations for improved performance.
