Data Analyst 1
Under the general direction of the Data Analyst 2, the Data Analyst 1 will perform tasks related to data analysis, data interpretation, and data management in support of agency operations. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
o Support the development and creation of business intelligence solutions to support analysis of agency operations. o Support the creation of agency-wide best practices and standards for data analysis and data management. o Analyze, clean, and interpret data for inclusion into written reports, measuring data findings against the criteria, critical benchmarks, and objectives identified and defined by Executive Leadership. o Evaluate data sources to determine any limitations in terms of reliability or usability. o Perform data extraction, aggregation, and quality checks. o Work with various stakeholders to develop and build models in support of analytic use cases; identify trends and patterns in data sources. o Work collaboratively with the technical dashboard development team to update/create dashboards to monitor agency performance and explore operational trends. o Perform the tasks of major assignments related to the analysis and interpretation of data used in the development of recommendations for improved performance.

From $61270 to $77912 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in data or computer science, informatics, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, and either:
satisfactory completion of a two-year traineeship or two years of experience in data visualization, and statistical models and data mining tools. Substitution:
A master's degree in the above fields may substitute for one year of the specialized experience. A Ph.D. in the above fields may substitute for two years of the specialized experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
